What does my membership give me?

Your first-year membership at $25 gives you your own fabulous 6 ft. pink boa (by the way, these are some schmancy boas, not cheap boas. We wouldn't even imagine buying cheap boas for you gorgeous broads.), as well as a copy of our book of the year (2008's book is Eeve Ensler's The Good Body), and of course your membership card. As if that wasn't enough, your membership will give you free entrance to many of our Pink Boa events and often a significant discount on events that are offered to the general public and run by a Pink Boa member, such as workshops and special events. Plus, after your first-year of membership, your renewal membership rate is only $15. That $15 will include that year's book of the year, and will continue to support our efforts to make this world a more equal, liberal, friendly place to live.
P.S.: If you lose your boa and need another, it is only $10.

Why are there membership fees?

Well ladies, simply because boas aren't free, neither are web sites, advertising, or books. Currently, the pink boa society is a volunteer-run association, and while we wish we had bottomless pockets to fund our efforts, unfortunately we don't. Your membership will help support us, and help us grow. We hope to seek non-profit status once we're up and going.

What if I can't afford the membership?

No worries, we can find something for you to do. There are many flyers to be hung and many boas to be ordered. Also, if you host a Pink Boa event, your boa membership is $5 off! What a great way to get involved. E-mail Carrie for more details.
